Texas Health Resources RN Medical Surgical Full Time Days in Dallas, Texas

Qualifications/Duties:

Busy 23 bed Medical-Surgical Inpatient unit, seeking an energetic RN/PCT/US to work Full time during the day shift (7a-7p).

Candidate required to work 3 scheduled shifts per week, with every other weekend required. No set schedules permitted. Some Holidays required.

The ideal candidate possess a high degree of confidentiality, have positive interpersonal skills, and be customer service focused.

*Shift: Full Time 7AM -7PM for a total of 36 hours a week with some weekends and holidays*

In order to qualify for this the following criteria must be met:

  • Graduate of a NLN (National League of Nursing) or CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) accredited nursing programs.

EDUCATION:

*BSN preferred (RNs hired within THR after December 2016 require completion of BSN within 2 years of start date)

EXPERIENCE:

*One year experience as a clinical nurse required, or completion of an RN residency program, or acceptance into a THR residency program

*At least one year of ICU experience preferred

LICENSURES/CERTIFICATIONS:

*RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing required

*Current AHA BLS training required

*ACLS preferred
