Qualifications/Duties:

Masters Degree in nursing, healthcare administration, Business Administration or similar degree

5 years of progressive management experience

RN License

Good leadership, managerial, analytical and financial skills. Results oriented with ability to evaluate opportunities/issues, identify solutions and alternative course of action and implement steps to improve performance. Highly self motivated and resourceful. Demonstrated ability to navigate within complex organizations with multiple stakeholders. Able to function with limited direction and be a strategic thinker. Excellent teamwork and communication skills, both oral and written. Project management skills.

STRATEGIC PLANNING

Develop, recommend and implement short and long term strategy for Texas Health Denton Heart & Vascular Service Line working collaboratively with THR Heart and Vascular Service Line.

OPERATIONS & FISCAL MANANAGEMENT

Improve operational performance to minimize waste and maximize resource capabilities for Heart & Vascular Service Line

HUMAN RESOURCES

Direct human resource management for Texas Health Denton’s Heart & Vascular Service Line that promotes staff development, engagement and retention.

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

Develop and implement quality and patient safety program for Texas Health Denton’s Heart & Vascular Services

• Ensures departments meet and maintain compliance with all regulatory and accrediting bodies for Heart & Vascular Services.

SATISFACTION

Achieve/sustain top decile performance on patient experience KPIs (ambulatory, emergency department, outpatient, therapy, etc.).
