Texas Health Resources Clinical Lab Assistant PRN in Allen, Texas

Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Allen seeks to hire a Clinical Lab Assistant PRN to work as needed in their laboratory.

The address is 1105 North Central Expressway, Allen, TX 75013.

Salary range is Minimum $14.15/hr. to Maximum $22.42/hr. – based on relevant experience

Work Schedule:

  • PRN – As needed

  • Variable days/primary hours needing coverage will be 1 st and 2 nd shift

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent is required

  • CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required

  • Completion of one course in phlebotomy preferred

  • 6 months experience as a phlebotomist highly preferred

  • Previous experience performing newborn screens, and heelsticks highly preferred

License and Certification:

  • PBT(ASCP) - Phlebotomy Technician Upon Hire preferred

Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving and organizational skills

  • Proficient in basic computer skills

  • Prefer: Venipuncture skills with all age groups
