Texas Health Resources Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical - Full Time - Days (7a-7p) **10K Sign on Bonus** - Allen in Allen, Texas

Texas Health Allen seeks to hire a Registered Nurse to work Full Time in their Med/surg Department

The address is 1105 Central Expressway North, Allen TX 75013

Salary range is Min. $27.50/hr. to Max. $52.88hr. – based on relevant experience

Work Schedule

• Shift is 7:00 am-7:00 pm, full-time, (3) 12 hour shifts, weekends and holidays required

The Registered Nurse will improve the quality of care for the post- surgical patient. Patients are admitted to this 25 bed for post surgery care including ortho, spine, plastics, general surgery and general medical overflow patients.

Qualifications

•Associate's Degree Nursing

• BSN preferred

• Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire

• BCLS (AHA) upon hire - expiration date greater than 3 months preferred

• ACLS (AHA) within 6 months of hire required.

• CPI training within 60 days of hire

• One (1) year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program.

• 1+ years RN experience in Med/surg preferred.

Skills

• Good computer skills using a medical management application.

• Possesses a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism.

• Serve as a role model, be an intra/interdisciplinary collaborator and a coordinator for quality patient care.

• A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment is required.
