Texas Health Resources Accountant

We’re looking for a qualified Accountant like you to join our Texas Health family.

Position Highlights

  • Work location: Temporarily Remote and in Office- Arlington at 612 E. Lamar Blvd. Arlington, TX 76011)

  • Work environment: Office setting

  • Work hours: Full-time, 40 Hours Weekly, Monday – Friday 7:30am – 4:30pm. Flexible hours

  • Salary range: $24.12 - $35.64 per hour (based on relevant experience)


  • High School Diploma or equivalent ( Required )

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field ( Required )

  • 2 or more years of accounting experience ( Strongly Preferred )

  • Accounting experience in areas of reconciliation, processing / analyzing accounting transactions ( Strongly Preferred )

  • One year of relevant work experience (Preferred)

Position Responsibilities- Supports all aspects of accounting to complete day to day accounting tasks. This role executes transactional processing / account reconciliation and uses accounting knowledge to conduct budget to variance analysis. This role also supports special projects with guidance from other Accountants per the direction of leadership.

  • Acts as a team lead to schedule work and ensure timely and accurate billing activities.

  • Performs general ledger accounting including maintaining general ledger accounts; preparing and reviewing journal entries; and account reconciliations.

  • Researches and resolves discrepancies.

  • Participates in monthly and year-end close by gathering and analyzing data to accurately prepare and report financial information.

  • Conducts general budget to variance analysis.

  • Addresses relevant accounting questions from financial planning and financial operations.

  • Supports special requests and projects as directed by the leadership.
