Work Environment: Cardiac Cath Lab Heart Hospital
Work hours: Full Time (40/hr/wk) working Monday- Friday 6:30a-5:00p with a rotating weekday off. Call required ( must be able to be on site with in 30 minutes)
Salary range: $27.50- $52.88 (based on relevant experience)

Our 5-room Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology department has 2 rooms dedicated to Cath Lab, 1 EP room, 1 Cath Lab / EP combo room and an OR suite for implants. Our Cath Lab Team completes approximately 1500 cases per year that include cardiac, device implants and peripheral vascular procedures.
This department provides heart and vascular services that includes Cardiac Catheterization (Coronary angioplasty/stenting, Carotid angioplasty/stenting and Peripheral angiography), Electrophysiology (Hansen Robot) and Cardiothoracic Surgery.
We are a Cycle III Chest Pain Center (first in Texas to be named), a certified Primary Stroke Center and earned the Stroke Gold Plus Achievement Award and Heart Failure Gold Plus Achievement Award by Get With The Guidelines®.
Associate's Degree Nursing Required
Bachelor's Degree Nursing Preferred
Other - CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency Required
1 Year Experience as a clinical nurse or completion of an RN residency program Required
Cath Lab or EP Experience is a Plus.
Licenses and Certifications
RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support with in 90 Days of hire Required
A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
