Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

*Sign-On for Eligible New Hires*

Work location: Texas Health Arlington, 800 W Randol Mill Rd, Arlington, TX 76012

Work hours: Full Time, 10-12 day on-call requirements

Here’s What You Need

  • ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Upon Hire Req Or

  • RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Upon Hire Req Or

  • RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist Upon Hire Req Or

  • CMRT - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist if ARRT Upon Hire Req And

  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent

  • patient care and maintained quarterly Req And

  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days Req

What You Will Do

Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process

  • Assesses the patient

  • Plans the care of the patient

  • Intervenes as appropriate

  • Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions

  • Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.

  • Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information

  • Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.

Education

Associate's Degree Applied Science Req Or

Other completion of accredited program in radiologic or cardiovascular technology Req Or

H.S. Diploma or Equivalent 2 Years work experience in invasive cardiology Req

Other - CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency Req

Experience

1 Year Pref

2 Years required with high school diploma Req

Licenses and Certifications
