Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery – Full-time - Great Benefits and Opportunities to Float
Oh baby! Our Women’s Services departments are growing by leaps and bounds. We’re looking for experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurses to join our Central Staffing Office team to float to at least 3 Texas Health Resources hospitals.
Work location: The address is based out of 612 E. Lamar, Arlington, TX 76011 and will float to a minimum of 3 hospitals.
Work environment: Must have flexibility to float throughout the Metroplex to a minimum of three (3) or more Texas Health Resources hospitals.
Ability to triage, labor, deliver, circulate, and recover patients in both LDR and LDRP settings. Assist with initial breastfeeding education.
Work hours: Full-time, Nights, 36 hours weekly, (3) 12-hour shifts, Variable shifts/schedules
Weekday, Weekend and Holiday (1 winter holiday per year required)
No weekend requirement – Except when work the one (1) booking agreement per year (usually between 8-weeks to 13-weeks) on any unit, must work the weekend requirements set by the unit.
Salary is $45.00/hour plus differentials and full benefits package

Associate Degree in Nursing; BSN preferred
CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency (required)
Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire
BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support certification through the American Heart Association required upon hire
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program required upon hire
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required upon hire
AWHONN - Advanced Fetal Monitoring (EFM) OR IFM - Intermediate Fetal Monitoring required upon hire
Three ( 3) Years’ RN Experience with one year in the last three yearsas a clinical nurse in specialty area of position (Labor & Delivery RN experience) Required
In addition to the required qualifications, a successful RN will:

possess a strong work ethic and always display a high level of professionalism
have basic computer skills using Medical management application systems
Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
• assesses the patient
• plans the care of the patient
• intervenes as appropriate
• evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
• Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
• Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
• Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers
