Texas Health Resources Director EMS Strategy and Relations in Arlington, Texas

Texas Health Resources seeks to hire a Director EMS Strategy and Relations.

The Director is responsible for building relationships with the EMS agencies across the metroplex to gain tighter alignment and develop collaborative partnerships between EMS and entities. The incumbent will work closely with hospital Presidents, ED Leadership and System Services to develop and deploy System initiatives and ensure a consistent approach to managing our EMS line of business.

Salary range is Min. $72,675/year to Max. $118,019/year – based on relevant experience

Location: Texas Health Resources corporate offices-Arlington, TX

Job Description

Makes personal visits to critical and select EMS agencies to form better and more cohesive partnerships and educate them about the exceptional services offered across THR.

Drive EMS growth across THR hospitals including making visits to EMS agencies to seek feedback on opportunities to improve.

Responsible to increase EMS volumes to THR.

Create, design and participate in all marketing events and special events for EMS recognition and education as well as make suggestions for improvement for new events.

Drive EMS strategy and growth through influence at the hospital level.

Produce and deploy a strategic plan and work with Finance team and entity leadership team on budget as well as incremental expense for EMS Growth.


The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications


Associate's Degree in Healthcare discipline required. Or, Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare or Business discipline required


5 years in a paramedic, EMS chief or related role required

3 years healthcare sales, strategy, business development or other related leadership role preferred

Licenses and Certifications

Clinical license based on degree preferred upon hire


Expert knowledge of EMS system; background in and ability to professionally communicate and engage with EMS crews, chiefs, as well as Hospital and System leadership across multiple Channels. Strong project management and execution skills. Ability to function independently and work well as part of high functioning team. Relevant computer expertise.
