Texas Health Resources Employee Relations Specialist in Arlington, Texas

Qualifications/Duties:

M-F Days, occasional evenings or weekends based upon business need.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Admin, Human Resources, or relevant field is required.

Experience:

Three (3) years of experience in employee relations or Human Resources Generalist level role required.

Licenses/Certifications:

PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP required within 12 months of hire and maintained thereafter

Strongly Prefer:

Candidate certified in PHR,SPHR,SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP

Skills and Abilities:

This position requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills, knowledge of employment laws and regulations, and critical thinking skills.

Possess effective time-management skills. Proficient with office software applications e.g. Word, Power Point, Excel (intermediate level) and Outlook.

Mediation, group facilitation and conflict resolution skills are highly desirable.

Essential Functions:

Manages investigations end-to-end, including intake meetings, background research, investigative interviews, report creation, and debrief meetings with leadership.

Manages conflict at the lowest level of the organization and negotiates resolutions.

Consults with key stakeholders such as legal team and other interdisciplinary teams (as needed) to assess organization risk.

Collaborates with team members in the delivery of ongoing programs and services.

Collaborates in the development of solutions for systemic or departmental issues revealed during the investigative process.
