Texas Health Resources Epic-Business System Analyst III (IS) in Arlington, Texas
Texas Health Resources is currently seeking an Epic Cogito Reporting Project Manager. The Cogito Project Manager (CPM) is responsible for the overall success of reporting and for coordinating tasks across all applications. The candidate will lead the Epic Revenue Cycle Reporting and Analytics.

Salary range is Min. $38.86/hr to Max. $57.06/hr – based on relevant experience
- Full Time; 1 st Shift-Flexible Schedule (1-2 days a week you will have the option to work from home)
Collaborates with executive sponsors and/or business owners to properly define, scope, prioritize, and documents technological requirements to resolve business-related problems in compliance with the strategic objectives of the system.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify the risks, inter-dependencies and timelines for desired functionality and features.
Develops resource and cost/benefit estimates to establish project worth and feasibility.
Recommends acquisition of new software applications and/or redesigning/redeploying existing system resources to address operational concerns as needed.
Ensure compliance with governance, quality, and best practices to optimize performance and scalability.
Proactively communicates with key stakeholders to ensure timelines are met, issues are escalated and resolved, business requirements are satisfied.
Enables effective governance of major initiates/investments through rigorous Return on Investment (ROI) evaluation, actual expenditure tracking, ongoing emphasis on and reporting of target benefits, and establishment of a process for accurate value realization measurement.
Along with the key stakeholders, maintains awareness of the portfolio of current and upcoming projects as they relate to potential demand creation and prioritization. Includes early awareness of potential change control matters.
Take responsibility for effectively utilizing demand and resource management tools; aligned with best-in-class functionality and emerging technology.
PROCESS & COMMUNICATION
Participates in and supports governance, project management, and service management processes and procedures.
Ensures accurate and timely information is updated on applicable knowledge bases and communication channels.
May lead and/or serve as mentor to less experienced staff.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field. 4 Years Relevant experience in lieu of a degree. Req
6 Years Experience in planning and implementing new information systems and/ or planning and integrating new technologies into existing systems.
and/or Experience with current systems analysis principles, methods, procedures, practices, tools and techniques and project management principles Required
Specific application expertise may be a requirement dependent on the department the position supports. Required
HIGHLY PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:-Epic Revenue Cycle Reporting-Performing reporting/project management for complex BI reporting environments including Epic Reporting applications (Reporting Workbench, Radar, BOE, Slicerdicer applications) and Tableau.-Relevant experience in planning and implementing new information systems for reporting and/ or planning and integrating new technologies into existing systems for Epic reporting-Relational Databases and Structured Query language (SQL) including MS SQL Server (2005 and higher), DB2 and Oracle (10g or higher) or Epic Tools.
Epic Cogito Project Manager certification within 12 months of hire highly preferred.
Communication and presentation skills and a proven ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization; including business unit functional leaders and technical experts. Expert understanding of information systems, business processes.
Analytical and product management skills required, including an advanced understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
Excellent organizational skills; ability to manage multiple projects with competing demands for resources.
