Epic Prelude/RTE Analyst III

Texas Health Resources is looking for a top skilled Epic Prelude/RTE Analyst III with Epic Prelude and RTE experience. Is that you?

Work location: Texas Health Resources, 612 East Lamar Blvd, Arlington, TX 76011

Primarily remote however must live in the DFW area or be willing to relocate to the DFW area.

Work hours: Full-time, Day shift; 40 hours, Monday – Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

Here’s What You Need

Education

· Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, clinical discipline, or related field (Preferred)

​​​​​​Experience

  • 7 years of relevant work experience with no degree (Required) Or,

  • 5 years or relevant experience with an Associate’s degree (Required) Or,

  • 3 year of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree (Required)

  • Epic Prelude/RTE support experience (Preferred)

Certifications

  • Epic Certification (Required)

  • Epic Prelude Certification (Required within 6 months)

​​​​ Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communications, presentation skills, and customer relationship skills.

  • Ability to work with all levels of healthcare client organization.

  • Highly organized.

  • Experience with documentation, workflow design, and build configuration of area of specialty.

  • Knowledge of clinical environments is highly desirable.

  • Ability to develop a trusted relationship with the client during the implementation process.

  • The ability to work collaboratively with teams of all sizes as well as independently with little to no supervision.

  • PC skills required.

  • A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways.

  • Ability to serve as a team mentor and unofficial or official supervisor to other team analysts on projects, initiatives and diagnosis of failure when needed.

  • Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.

  • Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.

  • Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.

What You Will Do

The Applications Systems Analyst Epic III is responsible for design, build, test, implementation and ongoing maintenance and support of applications and related information technologies. This role serves as a build mentor to other team ASAs on projects, initiatives and diagnosis of failure when needed.

This role provides consulting services on how to integrate information technologies into clinical and business processes and the effective application of industry and organizational technology standards.

  • Develop and maintain application training environments including developing training scenarios, functionality design, building test patient and user profiles, validating test user security.

  • Design and develop training curriculum for upgrades, maintenance, enhancements, and strategic initiatives. Determine appropriate methodologies used for training deployment.

  • Provide consultation services and coordination of training and user support for go-lives.

  • Responsible for credentialing and mentoring of new end user trainers and principal trainers.

  • Support assigned application(s) by participating in build activities, change management and incident management as assigned.
