Texas Health Resources Facilities Maintenance Specialist in Arlington, Texas

Texas Health Resources seeks to hire a full time Maintenance Specialist.

The address is 612 E. Lamar Blvd Arlington, TX 76011. Will use company vehicle to drive to other facilities around DFW when needed.

Salary range is Min. $25.00/hr to Max. $35.11/hr – based on relevant experience

Work schedule is 1 st shift

This position is a skilled and certified specialist that provides skilled industrial level maintenance and technical support to the facility and its staff. This shall include all trade specific classifications including electrician, electrician master, plumber,

master plumber, HVAC technician, electronics technician, refrigeration technician, and similar fields.

Provide routine and specialized building repair and maintenance support for hospital, hospital equipment, and hospital properties utilizing the computerized maintenance management system. Identify and correct problems such as mechanical

systems (pumps, belt drivers, gear reduction drives, piping, valve diagnosis and replacement), plumbing systems (installing, repairing and maintaining pipes, fixtures and other plumbing used for waste water distribution and waste water disposal),

electrical systems (install, test, maintain, and diagnose electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, fixtures, components, and systems), and control systems (sensors, limit switches, solonoids, motors).

Provide technical support and general guidance to facility staff in the repair and operation of facility equipment, components,

utilities, and the like.

Participate in hospital and departmental safety programs, educational opportunities, and related training. Attends 90% of staff meeting and training, required training shall be completed on time.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications

Education

H.S. Diploma or Equivalent required

Experience

3 Years experience in a commercial or industrial environment Required and

1 Year experience in a healthcare environment Preferred

Preferred HVAC experience and familiar with chillers, cooling towers and the associated equipment, AHUs, RTUs, VAV boxes, and FCUs.

Licenses and Certifications

DL - Drivers License Upon Hire Required And

Electrician certification/license upon hire required or Plumber certification/license upon hire or other industrial maintenance mechanic certification upon hire

Skills

Proficient in the use of computerized systems for all aspects of job performance; troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and utility systems; mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills; ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams; ability to work effectively unsupervised and in teams; excellent written, verbal, and listening skills; ability work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
