Texas Health Resources Financial Reporting Analyst II in Arlington, Texas

Texas Health Resources seeks to hire a Financial Reporting Analyst to work full time in their Tax and Financial Reporting Department.

The address is 612 East Lamar Blvd., Arlington, TX 76011.

Salary range is Minimum $30.42/hr. to Maximum $48.62/hr. – based on relevant experience

Job Description:

This position implements and monitors accounting and financial reporting policies and procedures. Additionally, this role prepares and compiles data for annual, quarterly, and monthly financial statements and related materials and other scheduled and ad-hoc financial operations reports as needed. This role helps to maintain financial reporting standards in collaboration with Finance stakeholders across the organization.

Essential Functions:

  • Works with other Finance leads, affiliates, and external / internal auditors to design and develop financial reports and responds to requests that meet their respective needs.

  • Implements and monitors accounting and financial reporting policies and procedures for a functional process area in accordance with GAAP.

  • Prepares and compiles data for annual, quarterly, and monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

  • Prepares and compiles data for audit workpapers and other audit requests for the annual external audit and any internal audits.

  • Reviews financial variance and other month end analysis and month end financial statement consolidation.

  • Reviews and analyzes financial reports to identify and resolve accounting issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field required with a degree in accounting being highly preferred .

  • 3 years Accounting, Finance, and/or auditing experience with auditing and financial reporting experience being highly preferred .

  • Experience in a large public company or health care system preferred

License and Certifications:

  • CPA Certification or CPA candidate highly preferred
