Salary range is Minimum $22.76/hr. to Maximum $35.59/hr. – based on relevant experience

Job Description:

This position serves THR University as a coordinator for learning technologies. The incumbent will coordinate eLearning applications including but not exclusively related to MyTalent/SAP (LMS), ITConnect (Desktop Support, Tier II), SharePoint (CMS), and third-party vendors such as Health Stream and CE Direct. The Learning Technology Coordinator (LTC) professional focuses on providing services across the following areas: Customer Service, Curriculum Management, Reporting, Record Management, and Calendar/Catalog functions. The LTC provides user-oriented delivery of service.

Essential Functions:

Learning Management –

The coordination, administration, documentation, and system support of fully online courses, as well as blended learning and instructor led training via an online learning delivery platform.

  1. Utilizes the Learning Management System (LMS) to its full capability to provide customer service, user support in incident management by troubleshooting, investigating, testing and resolving user issues; curriculum management; ecompetencies, reporting, records management, and management of calendar and catalog of eLearning opportunities.

  2. Works with stakeholders, trainers, facilitators, and employees to communicate, create and coordinate ILTs scheduled offerings, curriculum and job profiles. Define, maintain, and eliminate ssignment rules in the assignment profiles (AP); utilizes the LMS as the primary tool to create, capture and share information.

  3. Coordinates the day to day, quarter to quarter, and annual calendar of local and system THR University training and learning events, including quarterly and annual curriculum and job profile reviews, revisions, reconciliatons, and any associated reporting. Captures course description and objectives for course catalogue coordination.

  4. Partners with HRIS as the lead in ongoing maintenance of the LMS content, configuration, and utilization.

Record Management –

Coordination of instructional content catalogues, tracking of user progress, and management of record-keeping.

  1. Develops and maintains a database of report resources. Communicates reports and outcomes to relevant stakeholders. Provides analysis of performance metrics to identify trends and patterns.

  2. Maintains a database of all delivery resources (e.g. trainers, facilitators, and coaches) and a library for competencies.

  3. Works with Learning Outcomes Consultant to coordinate THRU resources (MTM) to develop feedback loops for assessments, questionnaires, evaluations, surveys, etc.

  4. Records ticket incidents in ConnectIT system.

  5. Supports the tracking of completions and data entry of courses for compliance, competency and/or vendor presentations/ in services/ programs.

  6. Maintains workflows for processes and tasks; conducts bi-annual updates of LTC process and procedure manual for training and maintenance of specialization workflow.

  7. Provides on-site presence for regulatory or accreditation surveys for LMS documentation support.

Technology Management –

Optimize the use of technology to enhance learning performance.

  1. Maintains awareness of course delivery issues, via technology or other methods, and seeks resolutions via all parties.

  2. Tracks and troubleshoots technical issues via the IT Incident Management System.

  3. Integrates knowledge of LMS, Sharepoint (CMS), PeopleSoft, and Excel.

  4. Utilizes remote desktop tools to provide end user solutions.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

  • Associate’s Degree in Business, Healthcare, Hospitality or relevant field preferred

  • 3 years demonstrable work experience with proven experience in departmental support or customer service

  • 2 years experience with Success Factors (SAP/LMS) highly preferred

Skills and Abilities:

  • Advanced office software applications skills and experienced user of office and desktop publishing applications e.g. power point, Excel spreadsheet creation, and other presentation software to create presentations and some analysis.

  • Experience using Sharepoint & Learning Management System software.

  • Proven experience producing various forms of business correspondence - e.g. business letters, memos, written and statistical report documentation for production.

  • Proven mathematical skills to collect, manipulate and analyze statistical data.

  • Excellent project management and organization skills.

  • Excellent verbal, written communications and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to give instructions and clearly explain problems or situations.

  • Ability to multitask and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
