Texas Health Resources LVN TRANSFER CENTER PRN in Arlington, Texas
REQUIRED EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited LVN program.
REQUIRED MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2 years experience in a clinical setting, preferably
the ED or an ICU.
REQUIRED LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Current LVN license in the State of Texas
A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills and ability to function in a fastpaced team environment.

Must have time management skills; working under the supervision of an RN, accurately completes electronic MOT utilizing information gained from the transfer center chart and electronic health record and notifies sending nurse of same.
-Facilitates nurse to nurse report and coordinates EMS services in order to ensure transferring patients are sent and received timely.
-Uses transfer center protocols to make determinations regarding which EMS service is appropriate, and escalates issues to manager when indicated, provides information and facilitates clinical exchange of information necessary to facilitate transfer.
-Assists with the analysis of EMS response times based on entity level reports. -Working under the supervision of an RN, utilizes established protocols, facilitates and documents the safe and efficient transfer of patients based on requested facility or service line.
-Collaborates with entity nursing administration and physicians to ensure physician to physician communication is completed and administrative approval is obtained.
-Escalates all declines per protocols and notifies director immediately of any EMTALA concerns. Continuously takes steps to ensure that our KPIs are met growing volume and keeping patients in the system] and accurately documents deviations from same.
