Texas Health Resources MAINTENANCE GENERALIST in Arlington, Texas

Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital seeks to hire a Maintenance Generalist to work full time.

The address is 800 West Randol Mill Road Arlington, TX 76012

Salary range is Min. $18.22/hr to Max. $28.29/hr based on relevant experience

Work schedule is 3:00p to 11:30pm Monday-Friday

Participate in hospital and departmental safety programs, education opportunities, and related training.

Provide basic building repair and maintenance support including, but not limited to, general mechanical repairs, painting, electrical, plumbing, customer requests, grounds, and the like utilizing the computerized maintenance management system.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications

Education

H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Individuals hired into the position prior to January 1, 2003 will be grandfathered with existing education Required

Experience

1 Year Maintenance in commercial or industrial environment Required and

1 Year Healthcare environment Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

DL - Drivers License Upon Hire Required

Skills

Proficient in the use of computerized systems for all aspects of job performance; ability to perform basic building maintenance functions to include painting and general repairs; working knowledge of basic hand/ power tool operation; the ability to recognize and solve practical problems or issues; ability to communicate maintenance problems to hospital departments and departmental supervisors; ability to work in extreme temperatures; ability to work unsuprvised and in teams; excellent written, verbal, and listening skills; ability work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
