Bachelor’s Degree in Majors Business Administration, Healthcare Administration Data Analytics, Computer Science, or relevant field required And
Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration Data Analytics, Computer Science, or relevant field preferred.
5 years of relevant years relevant technical applications development experience performing requirements analysis, source data mapping and analysis, design, application development, and testing experience with a Bachelor’s degree required or,
3 years relevant years of relevant technical applications development experience performing requirements analysis, source data mapping and analysis, design, application development, and testing experience with a Master's degree required and,
Healthcare, Omni-Channel strategy, digital marketing. or equivalent experience preferred.
Significant Applications Development, Web development or BI development hands on development preferred.
Java Scripting and Web Development Experience (strongly preferred)
Prior Omni-Channel Communications/Web personalization development exposure/experience preferred
Strong SQL development skills with an enterprise level database preferred (Teradata preferred)
Teradata Vantage CX (VCX) and/or Celebrus application experience preferred
Position Responsibilities : The Omni-Channel Applications Specialist is a self-motivated individual responsible for the development and support of solutions using data applications to personalize customers' experience across all digital channels. They design, configure, test, implement and provide production support of personalized content and messages to customers through various digital channels. They will collaborate with business leaders, channel owners, project managers and technical staff of the consumer data platforms and digital channels to prioritize and rapidly deliver personalized experiences. They will configure and test the interfaces to sources for customer data capture; implement and test the data integration rules, including the incorporation identity management and Consumer 360, and set up and test message arbitration rules to be used for the message groups. They are well versed in all aspects of solutions development including requirements definition, design, data source mapping and analysis, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation support. They are well organized and excellent communicators. Their work will create a consistent omni-channel experience in support of Texas Health's consumer strategy, and they will collaborate with multiple areas such as marketing, digital experience, customer relationship management, EDW, BI, patient scheduling, etc.
Work with business leaders, channel owners, project managers, architects, data scientists, SMES and vendors to design develop, test, and implement the logic in the consumer data platforms to support the business goals for Omni-Channel strategies for dependent digital and applications. Support production consumer data platforms Omni-Channel personalization features to manage source system data changes, arbitration changes and ensure expected functionality, and acceptable performance.
Work closely with the Omni-Channel Applications Architect who provides the technical leadership for the consumer data platforms teams. Maintain line of sight on application, API, data warehouse, identity management Consumer 360, predictive model dependencies and arbitration rules for new Omni-Channel personalization features. Works with digital platform and CRM application teams to perform the development, testing and promotion activities needed to rapidly deploy new message groups. Provides level of effort and duration estimates and dependencies to Application Architect and Project manager for work plans and issue resolution. Provides up-to-date work statuses and prompt identification of issues to ensure schedule and commitment attainment.
Participate in all message group specification, design, and configuration peer reviews. Performs, unit and integration and pre-UAT testing. Performs defect analysis and resolution during UAT. Documents all analysis design configuration and test work using the standard artifacts specified for the consumer data platforms. Maintains all documentation in conjunction with configuration and testing activities to ensure accuracy of consumer data platform artifacts.
Performs production support activities needed to maintain the production message group components and arbitration rules. These activities supporting the consumer data platforms production support team in troubleshooting error event messages, troubleshooting resolving functionality issues, performing maintenance updates and code retirements to ensure effective lifecycle management.
Comply with THR information security, privacy, and governance policies, ITSM processes and Data Integration development and design standards and best practices. Adhere to data and messaging governance requirements and documentation including but not limited to business and technical definitions.
Develop interrelationships among architects, channel owners, partners and customers business SMEs and analysts who directly and indirectly impact the consumer data platforms and leverages those relationships to assure effective solutions. Mentor and train key stakeholders and team members on the consumer data platforms and Omni-Channel strategies.
Excellent written and oral communication skills; able to flex style based on the audience are required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required. Must have the ability to be systematic and detailed oriented without losing sight of the big picture. Demonstrated ability to interpret the information provided and ask clarifying questions to understand the underlying needs that of a stated request or problem.
Significant application development experience including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation support is required. Experience must include the documentation and maintenance of related artifacts.
Demonstrated knowledge of SDLC, ITSM and privacy and security concepts are required.
Experience delivering application solutions through rapid, iterative delivery methods such as Agile, Kanban, or Scrum preferred.
Experience performing data mapping, profiling. analysis, and quality validation is preferred.
Using SQL, ETL or other data preparation software to perform data exploration, profiling, quality checking and transformation is required. Skills should include working knowledge on how to create queries, joins, filters, conditions, subqueries, tables, views, group by attributes and how to accurately perform counts, calculations, and other data aggregation.
Some combination hands-on application full development lifecycle experience in following areas is required.
Use case development, business and requirements analysis and documentation.
Applications design, and development and testing.
Configuration control and documentation version control
Support/performance of User Acceptance Testing and application regression testing and defect management and resolution
Applications Implementation and post implementation support
Vantage CX, Celebrus or similar consumer data platform.
Consumer 360 views and identity management.
Teradata or similar extended data warehouse technology.
Mulesoft or similar API development environment.
Sitecore or similar website development platform.
Salesforce or similar CRM application.
Tableau or equivalent BI visualization software.
Alteryx Designer or equivalent data preparation software.
Alteryx Connect or equivalent enterprise data catalog application
