Pharmacy Tech PRN - Texas Health Central Staffing Office

Position Highlights

  • Work location: Texas Health CSO

  • Work hours: PRN (as needed) working rotating shifts and schedules must be able to float to multiple THR entities across the system.

  • Salary range: $21.00 per hour (based on relevant experience)

Qualifications

Education

H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Required

Experience

1 Year within the last 3 years (excluding orientation) Required

acute care experience Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

RPhT - Registered Pharmacy Technician Upon Hire Required

Position Responsibilities

Service & Culture: Responsible for the timely and accurate preparation, delivery and storage of medications, including (when appropriate) the use of technology to do so.

Quality & Safety: Responsible for ensuring accuracy of one's own work as well as the maintenance of required competencies, and other documentation. Must consistently reflect departmental Quality Improvement and Patient Safety standards, programs and initiatives.

Growth Integration: Responsible for the ongoing professional development and growth.

People Partnership: Responsible for communicating effectively, develop working relationships and role model teamwork.

Finance & Stewardship: Responsible not only for the management of one's own time but shares the responsibility for minimizing pharmaceutical costs (including wastage) and discovering new process efficiencies.

Other duties as assigned.
