Records Management Specialist

We’re looking for qualified Records Management Specialist like you to join our Texas Health family.

Position Highlights

  • Work location: Texas Health System Services612 E. Lamar Arlington, TX 76011

  • Work environment: HIMS Records Management

  • Work hours: Full Time (40hrs/week), Tuesday – Saturday from 8am – 4:30pm

  • Salary range: $15.27 - $23.65 per hour (based on relevant experience)

Education

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Req or Associate's Degree HIM or related Preferred.

Experience

• 3 Years Healthcare expereince with Electronic Medical Records required

Licenses and Certifications

• RHIT- Registered Health Information Technician upon hire preferred

Position Responsibilities

• Prepare paper document for scanning, remove any binding material and repair of tears

• Analyze documents for required patient identification

• Organize documents by document type and in chronical order

• Batch prepped documents and route to the scanning area

• Unload records received from entities

• Log into tracking system

• Prepare records for prepping process

• Retrieve documents from various systems

• Analyze documents for patient identification, print identification, as needed

• Batch like documents for scanning

• Batch prepped documents and route to the scanning area
