Records Management Specialist
We’re looking for qualified Records Management Specialist like you to join our Texas Health family.
Work location: Texas Health System Services612 E. Lamar Arlington, TX 76011
Work environment: HIMS Records Management
Work hours: Full Time (40hrs/week), Sunday – Thursday from 7am – 3:30pm
Salary range: $15.00 - $22.90 per hour (based on relevant experience)

- H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Req
- 2 years office environment, preferably in health related field required
Licenses and Certifications
- RHIT- Registered Health Information Technician upon hire preferred
Prioritizes and scans documents into the document management system utilizing appropriate batching and scanning function to ensure TAT and metrics are met
Manages electronic work queues committing documents to the correct patient, chart level, and document type.
Prepares and maintains log of daily scanned batches.
Inspect and clean scanners daily
Calibrates scanner for proper image capture based on capture class
Acts as subject matter expert for scanner settings and demonstrates the ability to trouble shoot and resolve scanner issues
Partner with ITS to trouble shoot as needed
