Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit– Full Time
We’re looking for experienced PCU Registered Nurses to join our Central Staffing Office team to float to at least 3 Texas Health Resources hospitals.
Work location: address is based out of 612 E. Lamar, Arlington, TX 76011 and will float to a minimum of 3 hospitals.
Work environment: Texas Health Resources Central Staffing-an internal staffing agency-is currently in search of a Progressive Care Unit Full-time Registered Nurse. This Full-time position will work varying shifts. Must have flexibility to float throughout the Metroplex to a minimum of three (3) or more hospitals. At least one (1) holiday worked per year.
Work hours: Full Time varying shift (mostly nights) weekday, weekend, and holiday
Salary rate: $43.00/hr.

Associate’s degree in Nursing required;
CLIAFE - Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency
3 years experience with one year in the last three years as a clinical nurse in Progressive Care units
Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire required and
BCLS (AHA) prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required and
ACLS within 90 days of hire required
NIHSS prior to clinical work performed within 30 days of hire required and
CPI training within 60 days of hire required
In addition to the required qualifications, a successful RN will
demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
maintain a positive, customer-focused attitude toward patients.
possess a strong work ethic and always display a high level of professionalism.
have basic computer skills using Medical management application systems.
Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
• assesses the patient
• plans the care of the patient
• intervenes as appropriate
• evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
• Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
• Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
• Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers
