Texas Health Resources Registered Nurse/RN - Mother/Baby - PRN II Days in Arlington, Texas

Texas Health Resources seeks to hire a Registered Nurse to work PRN II at Texas Health Arlington in the Mother/Baby/Postpartum unit.

PRN II Rate - $35/hr

Work Schedule

• PRN, as needed

• Day Shift

• 32 Hours Per Month

• 3 -12 Hour shifts from 7:00 PM-7:00 AM

• 1 Weekend shift a month and Holiday

Under the direction of the health care provider, the Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of patient care that promotes the safety and well-being of all patients.

DEPARTMENT:

  • Mother/Baby/Postpartum

  • 14 bed unit

  • Level III

  • Couplet Care

Qualifications

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in Nursing (A.D.N.) is required

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred – RN’s hired after January 2017 require BSN within 2 years of start date.

• Two (2) year experience as a clinical nurse (RN) or completion of an RN Residency program required. At least one (1) year of Mother/Baby/Postpartum experience preferred.

• Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire

• BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support certification through the American Heart Association required upon hire

• NRP – Neonatal Resuscitation Program required within 90 days of hire
