Texas Health Resources Registered Nurse/RN Women's Med/Surg - Days in Arlington, Texas

Texas Health Arlington Memorial has a full time, day shift, opportunity for an experienced Women Services Med/Surg RN.

Location: 800 West Randol Mill Road, Arlington, TX 76012

RN Salary Range: $26.50 - $50.82/hour, commensurate with working experience

Qualifications

Qualified candidates for the full time Women Services Med/Surg RN will possess the following:

Education:

Associates degree in nursing is minimum.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

*RNs hired after January 2017 require completion of BSN within 2 years of start date.

Required minimum experience:

One (1) year experience as a clinical nurse (RN), or completion of an RN residency program.

Two (2) years of Med/Surg experienc in a Women Services Unit within the last year is strongly preferred.

Required license/certification:

Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire;

Current AHA BLS/CPR certification upon hire.

NRP certification required within 90 days

Required skills (if applicable):

  • A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

  • Critical thinking skills

*Flexibility with schedule

  • Basic computer skills/knowledge - Microsoft Word and Outlook; computerized charting on EPIC/Care Connect

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

DEPARTMENT:

This is for an 18 bed GYN Unit

HOURS:

Full-time: 6:45 AM-7:15 PM, 36 hours/week, (3) 12-hour shifts, including some weekends and holiday coverage. Self-scheduling.
