Position Highlights

  • Work location: 612 E. Lamar Blvd. Arlington, TX 76011 – Travel Required

  • Work environment: Clinical Transfer Center

  • Work hours: Full-time, 36 hours weekly (3- 12 hours shifts a week), working days, 7:00a-7:00p

  • Associate's Degree Nursing Required

  • Bachelor's Degree Nursing Preferred

  • 2 Years clinical registered nurse experience within the last 2 years Required or

  • 1 Year transfer center experience within the last year Required

  • 1 Year THR transfer center experience within the last year Preferred

  • RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required

Position Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and facilitates patient transfers following the Behavioral Health Transfer Center's process flow and higher level of care requirements

  • Collects clinical information to determine patient's level of care

  • Collaborates with THR on-call physicians and non-THR physicians to arrange transfer

  • Transfer Center Data Collection.

  • Collection of specific data points as required by technical software and law

  • Maintain knowledge base regarding ever evolving changes at each entity

  • Actively seek out changes and updates regarding the transfer process through-out the system

  • Utilizes established protocols and guidelines for ensuring patients are safely and efficiently transferred to the appropriate level of care
