- Bachelor's Degree- Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, (4 years relevant experience in lieu of a degree) required and,
3 years of relevant work experience to include: 3 years Salesforce Administration experience and 1 year experience with Agile software development methodologies & sprint/scrum processes required and,
Deep understanding of roles, profiles, sharing rules, permission sets, and the Salesforce security model preferred and,
Knowledgeable in workflow rules, field updates, email alerts, validation rules, process builder, and other Salesforce automation tools
Knowledge of Health Cloud preferred.
Licenses and Certifications
- Salesforce Administrator Certification upon hire highly preferred.
Position Responsibilities The Administrator Salesforce II position will perform daily administration and support for THR's enterprise Salesforce platform, including but not limited to: Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, Health Cloud and PExA accelerator. Duties include but are not limited to: user and account maintenance, profiles and roles, customization of objects, fields (including formula fields), record types, page layouts, workflow rules, business administrator support and validations. They will also be building complex reports, dashboards and using data management tools like data loader and import wizards to maintain accurate data.
Responsible for the THR Salesforce daily administration that will include configuration, development, integration, customization and support of the THR enterprise Salesforce cloud environment, including but not limited to: Health Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, VCC PExA accelerator app and other THR developed apps
Manage all administrative functions related to Salesforce and related business systems.
Serve as a resource person in areas of user support, data management, dashboards, and reporting.
Perform routine SFDC platform administration, user access, operational support, maintenance, and system configuration as defined through business stakeholders. • Maintain and update standard operating procedures, as needed.
Provide application users with technical support
Participate in change management efforts to implement better practices, new processes & improvements in overall performance.
Analyze and manage workflow rules, data validation and system triggers on the SF platform
Coordinates activities with the various THR Business administrators.
Assist with integrations between Salesforce and various other platforms
Work closely with other team members to develop/implement business rules, update database functionality, and resolve integration issues in a comprehensive, timely manner
Review and maintain service desk tickets related to managed systems.
Responsible for issue resolutions and root cause analysis of assigned tickets.
Gather detailed requests for improvements or changes to the system, and implement these changes as appropriate
Maintain and ensure enforcement of administrative access, security policies and procedures.
Work closely with cross-function stakeholders in developing projects.
Analyze and advise stakeholders on process improvements and reengineering opportunities.
Assist cross-functionality to implement new or enhanced features to improve processes.
Assist the Salesforce architects and assigned contractors in the evaluation scope of Salesforce requests across all segments of the organization.
Participate in assigned activities related to Salesforce Cloud upgrades.
Assist in planning and coordinating testing changes, upgrades, and new services, ensuring systems will operate correctly in current and future environments
Participate in training and/or training development
Participate in development of test plans
Develop and maintain documentation, diagrams, surveys, and workflows.
Responds to on-call outages as necessary. Planning and administrative skills
Participates in the Change Management Board activities as appropriate
Participates in a fast-paced agile scrum team.
Participates in the evolution of team best practices, standards and policies.
Works largely self-directed, with only appropriate guidance from leadership.
Responds to customer issues in a timely manner.
Assists in communications with customers, project team and vendors in a timely manner and escalates issues and risks appropriately.
Monitors work progress, informing team leaders, team managers and/or customers of project status, problems or obstacles and workload issues in a timely manner.
Provides timely and accurate status reports.
Enters work time appropriately and on time into the ITS application systems.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills: Ability to accomplish projects within specified deadlines. Ability to effectively interface with technical and nontechnical staff at all organizational levels. Knowledge about Agile Project management methodology. Experience with JIRA and ServiceNow Service Desk tools a plus, Strong background with data management tools like data loader and import wizards. Capable of building complex reports and dashboards. Skilled problem solver with the drive to follow issues through to completion. Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and a customer-friendly attitude. Must be comfortable communicating and supporting employees at all levels of the organization. Self-motivated and ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, on multiple projects
