Salesforce Developer II – Digital Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business required (4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree required.


  • 3 years of Salesforce development experience required to include:

  • Experience in Salesforce development including, but not limited to: platform configuration, customizations, Apex coding, workflows, validation rules, triggers, advanced formulas, custom objects, reports, and dashboards.

  • Experience integrating Salesforce platform with other applications via real-time, batch and sync/async.

  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies & sprint/scrum processes.


  • Salesforce developer or App builder certification preferred.

Position Responsibilities: The Developer Salesforce II position will develop solutions on THR's enterprise Salesforce platform, including but not limited to: Service Cloud, Health Cloud and PExA accelerator. Duties including but not limited to: develop LWC components, Apex coding, custom configuration, build workflows, flows, validation rules, triggers approvals, Visualforce pages, advanced formulas, custom objects, reports, and dashboards. For established solutions the developer ensures continued product buildout as well as ensures timely resolution of bugs and issues elevated by the business operations teams.

  • Responsible for designing and developing solutions on THR Salesforce platform that will include configuration, development, integration, customization, and support of the THR enterprise Salesforce environment, including but not limited to: Health Cloud, Service Cloud, PExA accelerator app and other THR developed apps.

  • Design, build, and maintain reliable, efficient, and reusable code following best practices on salesforce platform.

  • Provide technical expertise to the team and ownership of solutions implemented on Salesforce platform.

  • Develop the best solution possible to business problems.

  • Provides feasibility analysis of solutions.

  • Helps with solution design of business requirements and works with software engineers and architects to prioritize business requirements

  • Drives effort estimation or story pointing of business requirements

  • Committed to delivering high quality, high value, maintainable software in the hands of users quickly by working side-byside with business partners, Service partners and other developers.

  • Attends all scrum events as required or needed.

  • Supports and strengthens technical knowledge base across the Salesforce program.

  • Plan, develop, and execute salesforce platform configurations, customizations, code, workflows, triggers, pages & business capabilities.

  • Assist with integrations between Salesforce and various other platforms.

  • Work closely with cross-function stakeholders in development projects.

  • Analyze and advise stakeholders on process improvements and reengineering opportunities.

  • Assist cross-functionality to implement new or enhanced features to improve processes.

  • Assist the Salesforce architects and assigned contractors in the evaluation scope of Salesforce requests across all segments of the organization.

  • Participate in assigned activities related to Salesforce Cloud upgrades.

  • Participate in change management efforts to implement better practices, new processes & improvements in overall performance.

  • Respond to on-call outages as necessary.

  • Participates in the Change Management Board activities as appropriate.

  • Participates in a fast-paced agile scrum team.

  • Participates in the evolution of team best practices, standards and policies.

  • Works largely self-directed, with only appropriate guidance from leadership.

  • Responds to customer issues in a timely manner.

  • Assists in communications with customers, project team and vendors in a timely manner and escalates issues and risks appropriately.

  • Monitors work progress, informing team leaders, team managers and/or customers of project status, problems or obstacles and workload issues in a timely manner.

  • • Provides timely and accurate status reports.

  • Enters work time appropriately and on time into the ITS application systems.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.


  • Ability to accomplish projects within specified deadlines.

  • Ability to effectively interface with technical and nontechnical staff at all organizational levels.

  • Knowledge about Agile Project management methodology.

  • Experience with JIRA and ServiceNow Service Desk tools a plus.

  • Understandings of the capabilities of the Salesforce platform and Health Cloud.

  • Integration with salesforce and other third-party tools.

  • Ability to develop, maintain and test Salesforce solutions using Salesforce techniques such as custom objects, APEX triggers, workflow rules, validation rules and Lightning components.

  • Skilled problem solver with the drive to follow issues through to completion.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and a customer-friendly attitude. Must be comfortable communicating and supporting employees at all levels of the organization.

  • Self-motivated and ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, on multiple projects.
