Texas Health Resources Sr. Physician Payments Analyst in Arlington, Texas

Texas Health Resources seeks to hire a Sr. Physician Payments Analyst to work full time in their Accounts Payable Department.

The address is 612 E. Lamar, Arlington, TX 76011.

Salary range is Minimum $27.00/hr. to Maximum $45.11/hr. – based on relevant experience

Work Schedule:

  • Full Time; 1 st Shift

Job Description:

  • Prepare accounts payable related reports in accordance with state and federal guidelines. Ensure timely distribution and/or filing. (This includes 1099s.)

  • Review physician payment requests system wide for both payroll and accounts payable. Verify current contract exists and payment is being made in compliance with the terms of contract. Provide physician data and documentation to internal and external customers as needed. Conduct semi-annual review of physician payments to identify potential duplicate payments or other issues.

  • Assist and educate THR employees regarding the proper processes and procedures for physician payments in Accounts Payable and Payroll.

Additional Job Functions:

  • Responsible for reviewing physician payments to ensure expenditures are in compliance with existing physician contracts.

  • Lead the twice a year internal audit review of physician payments, to ensure contract compliance.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required

  • Bachelor’s Degree BA/BS in Accounting, Finance or related field highly preferred

  • 5 years Accounts Payable experience required

  • Experience with Contract Compliance, Audits, and/or 1099 highly preferred

  • ERP Systems aptitude highly preferred preferably in PeopleSoft

  • Prior Healthcare experience a plus
