Texas Health Resources Supplemental Staff Specialist PRN - As Needed in Arlington, Texas
Texas Health System Services seeks to hire a Supplemental Staff Specialist PRN to work “as needed” supporting the Central Staffing Office in Arlington.
The address is 612 East Lamar Blvd, Arlington, TX 76011
Salary range is Min $17.91/hour – Max $29.57/hour – based on relevant experience
This position does not include medical benefits
Work Schedule
PRN “as needed”
Monday – Friday – Rotating schedule based on department needs
Occasional weekends as needed
Job Description
Agency Staffing
Works with Texas Health leaders to identify contract staffing needs
Initiates request with vendors, receives candidate profiles and coordinates interviews with Texas Health leaders
Notifies agency of candidate status
Coordinates start and end dates of assignments. Serves as point of contact between vendor and contract requester throughout term of contract.
Contacts agency in the event of performance issues or changes to assignments
Provides feedback to supervisor regarding vendor timeliness, competency, reliability and candidate pool
Documentation
Validates and/or performs contractor license and competency verification. Verifies background check is complete.
Distributes written quality evaluations for contract staff at four weeks, ten weeks and upon assignment completion. Follows up with leaders to obtain feedback.
Onboarding
Provides CSO department information/orientation
Work with Human Resources to onboard contract staff to include:
ID Badge
IT Access
Orientation
Functions as Spl Pt/Stf as assigned
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Experience
Two years in office or healthcare environment required
Skills
Customer service skills with ability to handle heavy telephone activity
Ability to adapt to rapid changes and hectic environment
Good organizational, interpersonal, and verbal/written communication skills
Data entry skills
Microsoft Office skills preferred using Word, Excel, Outlook email, etc
