System Application Analyst II

We’re looking for qualified a Systems Application Analyst like you to join our Texas Health family.

  • Salary range: $41.82 - $51.30 per hour (based on relevant experience)

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, clinical discipline, or related field preferred.

  • 4 years relevant work experience with no degree required or

  • 2 years relevant experience with an Associate's degree required or

  • 1 year relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree required

  • Epic Superuser a plus

  • Registered Nurse license preferred.

Position Responsibilities: Provides go-live, upgrade, change, and designated application support for CareConnect. Partners with others to optimize CareConnect and other applications for physicians, clinicians. Understands and articulates support of CareConnect workflows. Participates in meetings, as appropriate, to maintain knowledge base with minimal supervision. Partners to promote usage and awareness of CareConnect. Understands new functionalities and promotes to physicians and clinicians. Demonstrates increasing Understanding of all THR Care Suite offerings. Prioritizes work appropriately, carrying out assignments with the appropriate level of direction and completing tasks within deadlines. Adheres to THR and ITS policies, procedures, and standards with minimal supervision. Offers fresh insights to help others overcome mental blocks and think creatively. Challenge’s others to think through implications, generate possibilities and develop solutions. In addition, the System Application Analyst will:

  • Build of application to meet user requirements for new and optimized workflows in designated applications and systems.

  • Communicates with customer, project team and vendors in a timely manner, with little or no supervision, in the analysis and design of business and clinical requirements for new and optimized application and system workflows, as well as ensuring secure and stable architectures are in place.

  • Diagnosis of failures encountered in application software and related technologies. Participation in the resolution of problems and issues associated with installed applications and related information technologies.

  • Quality control of all application implementations/enhancements prior to release to customers as well as ongoing maintenance and support as required by application life cycle. May include a combination of at the elbow and virtual support of clinical and nonclinical staff at any Texas Health location including our hospitals and clinics.

  • Maintains an awareness of vendor and industry developments/plans in area(s) of responsibility, communication and documentation of all relevant items and activities.
