Job Description

This PRN NP opening is with a well-established vascular surgery practice consisting of 2 physicians. Work 16 hours per week (Saturday one of the days) with vascular surgeons at outpatient wound care center. Responsibilities include wound care management, including dressings, hyperbaric treatments and assessment of vascular problems. Great opportunity to learn. Practice has lab onsite, high level wound care and hyperbaric chamber wound care. Practice is located on the campus of Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital.

Qualifications

Nurse Practitioner Qualifications:

The Nurse Practitioner (“NP”) Must be a graduate of an accredited Advanced Nursing Program and have a current RN license for the State of Texas.

Certified Advanced Nurse Practitioner in the State of Texas.

The NP will report to the supervising physician and/or the Medical Director and will be responsible for meeting CME requirements to maintain certification and licensure.

The NP’s duties and responsibilities apply to the THPG patient population and assigned setting only.
