Texas Health Resources Video Communications Specialist in Arlington, Texas

Texas Health Resources seeks to hire a Video Communications Specialist to work full time in their Stakeholder Engagement Department.

Salary range is Min. $37.04/hr. to Max. $51.56/hr. – based on relevant experience.

Job Description:

This position manages the multidisciplinary video communications needs for internal and external audiences, including clinical and non-clinical clients, executive leadership and medical staff physicians and ensures alignment with system objectives and brand standards.

Essential Functions:

Strategic Video Production

  • Leads concept development, writing, production, editing and deployment of video and audio stories for use with internal and external audiences.

  • Leverages new media and approaches to increase efficacy.

  • Ensures alignment with Texas Health strategic messaging priorities, as well as brand tone, look and feel.

  • Works with external resources, as needed, and manages accordingly.

  • Works within budget constraints and manages to budget.

Internal Video Communications Expert

  • Manages multidisciplinary video communications needs for internal and external audiences, including clinical and nonclinical clients, executive leadership and medical staff physicians, ensuring that work aligns with system strategic priorities; measures efficacy.

  • Shares information and work product across division and enterprise, for cross utilization of content.

  • Identify and recommends efficient approaches for use of video and audio communication as tools. Sells through alternatives as needed to ensure alignment.

Project Management

  • Actively participate as a project management system user, seeking to collaborate to deliver successful approaches on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, or related field required.

  • 5 years Video Production experience required. Health care experience preferred.

  • New Media, Marketing, Corporate Communications and/or social media experience highly preferred.

  • Still photography experience preferred.

  • Storytelling, writing, and/or project management experience a plus.


  • Confident presence and negotiation skills; proven problem-solving, organization and conflict resolution skills.

  • Experience with video production, editing and project management.

  • Strong relationship-building skills, along with commitment to a collaborative environment and keen understanding of brand standards and tools.

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, the ability to work with all levels of staff (executive, front-line, trustees and physicians) and function effectively in a fastpaced environment.

  • Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written.

  • Exceptional event planning skills – conceptual through execution/details.

  • Persuasive and adept at offering alternative solutions to achieve the most effective outcomes, with the ability to sell through ideas.

  • Knowledge of health care industry, hospitals, physician practices, nursing and business trends.

  • Must handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

  • Proficient in project management software and dedicated to its consistent use.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
