Position Highlights
Work location: Azle (North Fort Worth)
Work environment: PreAdmit Testing and Preop
Work hours: Full Time k
Weekends and Some Holidays required
Qualifications - External
Associate's Degree Nursing required; Bachelors Science Nursing (BSN) preferred
RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire (Required upon hire)
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required upon hire)
1 Year Experience as a clinical nurse or completion of an RN residency program Req
2 Years Experience as a clinical nurse in acute care preferred
RN experience in PAT, Preop, Med/surg or ER preferred
Skills
A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
Position Responsibilities
- PAT/ Preop Nurse calls our patients ahead of time to educate, set expectations and schedules patients for surgery. Responsible for preop testing and care in preparation for surgery.
