Work hours: PRN - Saturdays only 8:00am to 5:00pm
Occasional weekend requirements with optional weekday work

Bachelor’s Degree or completion of a Physical Therapy program (required)
Previous experience (preferred)
PT - Texas Physical Therapy License (required)
BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care (required)
Position Responsibilities Texas Health Physical Therapists are responsible for using therapeutic treatment techniques appropriate to patient age and desire for treatment. Performing treatment procedures that are within the scope of the professional license Utilizing a variety of treatment techniques to achieve goals, if necessary determining patient response to treatment and evaluates progress.
In addition to the required qualifications, a successful Physical Therapist will
determine plan for care, and/or appropriate therapeutic interventions to achieve stated goals
demonstrate competence in the performance of age appropriate patient assessment and individualizes care based on age specific needs.
motivate non-compliant or unmotivated patients to participate in therapy
follows directions of circulating nurse in obtaining equipment, instruments and supplies as requested.
maintain patient safety throughout treatment and communicate with physicians and other healthcare personnel as appropriate regarding patient care issues.
educate patient and family through instruction, demonstration, and/or appropriate handouts in treatment plan, safety issues, home programs/self management and assistive equipment.
