Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department (ED) - PRN III Mid Shift for Texas Health Azle
Work location: Texas Health Azle: 108 Denver Trail Azle, TX 76020
Work hours: Evening Shift | PRN - PRN Level III/per diem, Mid Shift 11a – 11p or 1p-1a; minimum requirement: 6 shift/per 6-week schedule, 2 weekend shift/per 6-week schedule, 1 major/2 minor holiday requirement

Texas Health Azle is a 36-bed, community-based hospital serving the tri-county area since the 1950s. We provide exceptional care to the suburban areas of Azle, Lake Worth, Springtown and surrounding areas.
We’re accredited through The Joint Commission for disease specific care of Chest Pain patients, and we are accredited through the Texas Department of Health & Human Services as a Level IV Support Stroke facility, a Level IV Trauma Center and a Pathways to Excellence-designated hospital. We specialize in outpatient surgery, rehabilitative physical and hand therapy, and advanced imaging like mammography and CT scanning. We are a top choice in North Texas for emergency services, radiology services, rehabilitation and much more.
Here’s What You Need
Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred
Current RN licensure upon hire required
BCLS – prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
ACLS – within 90 days required
CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training – within 90 days of hire
PALS - within 90 days of hire
TNCC - within 12 months of hire
1 year experience as a clinical nurse required
At least 1 year of ER or Critical Care experience preferred
What You Will Do
Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
Assesses the patient
Plans the care of the patient
Intervenes as appropriate
Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
