Texas Health Physicians Group has a Full Time opening for an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to work with two of the top ranked cardiologists within the system who specialize in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases. Position Details

  • Full Time Monday thru Friday, plus call rotation, 1 in 10.

  • See patients in the clinic and perform inpatient consults/follow ups

  • Hospital consultants and ICU care

  • Plan treatment and document using EPIC EMR

Requirements Needed to Apply:

  • Acute Care Certification and Texas licensed

  • Strong Communication Skills

  • Graduate of accredited Nurse Practitioner program

  • 1 YEAR CRITICAL CARE OR CARDIO EXP OR 3 YEARS INPATIENT EXPERIENCE

The Nurse Practitioner (“NP”) Must be a graduate of an accredited Advanced Nursing Program and have a current RN license for the State of Texas.

Certified Advanced Nurse Practitioner in the State of Texas.

The NP will report to the supervising physician and/or the Medical Director and will be responsible for meeting CME requirements to maintain certification and licensure.

The NP’s duties and responsibilities apply to the THPG patient population and assigned setting only.
