H.S. Diploma or Equivalent required
3 Years experience in a commercial or industrial environment required
And 1 Year experience in a healthcare environment
DL - Drivers License required upon hire
Healthcare maintenance certification preferred upon hire
Skills and Abilities:
Proficient in the use of computerized systems for all aspects of job performance; troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing
mechanical, electrical, and utility systems; mechanical aptitude amd problem solving skills; ability to read and interpret
wiring diagrams; ability to work effectively unsuprvised and in teams; excellent written, verbal, and listening skills; ability
work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
Provide routine and specialized building repair and maintenance support for hospital, hospital equipment, and hospital
properties utilizing the computerized maintenance management system. Performs the duties of skill trades such as plumbing,
electrical, carpentry, painting, general maintenance, mechanical, HVAC, and exterior maintenance as required.
Provide technical support and general guidance to facility staff in the repair and operation of facility equipment,
components, utilities, and the like.
Participate in hospital and departmental safety programs, education opportunities, and related training.
