Texas Health Resources Paramedic-PRN-Nights-Emergency in Bedford, Texas

Texas Health HEB has a PRN opportunity with Great Benefits and Growth Potential available for a Texas Licensed Paramedic (EMT-P).

This opportunity will be working at our HEB Hospital campus located at 1600 Hospital Parkway in Bedford, TX 76022.

The work schedule for this opportunity will be night shift, 7p (1900) to 7a (0700) and includes rotating weekends and holidays.

Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Hurst-Euless-Bedford is a 296-bed, acute-care facility serving Northeast Tarrant County since 1973. With more than 550 physicians on its medical staff, hospital services include outpatient surgery, women’s services, a Level III neonatal intensive care unit, a dedicated oncology unit and cardiac rehabilitation. Texas Health HEB recently received a dual accreditation as a Cycle IV Chest Pain Center and Heart Failure Center by the Society of Chest Pain Centers, is certified as a Primary Stroke Center and a designated "Baby Friendly" facility by WHO and UNICEF. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required.

Experience:

Three (3) months recent Paramedic experience or completion of a Paramedic Internship is required.

One (1) year of Paramedic experience in EMS or Fire Dept is preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

EMT-P - Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic upon hire required for Texas,

ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support upon hire required,

BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support upon hire required.

PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 60 days of hire required.

CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention training within 60 days of hire required.
