Texas Health Resources Patient Care Tech (PCT) PRN-Rotating-ICU* in Bedford, Texas

Are you looking for a rewarding career with great benefits and growth potential? Texas Health HEB seeks to hire a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to work on a PRN or as needed basis in the ICU Unit.

This opportunity will be working at our HEB Hospital campus located at 1600 Hospital Parkway in Bedford, TX 76022.

The work schedule for this opportunity will be rotating shift, starting at either 7a (0700) or at 7p (1900), depending on the need, and includes rotating weekends and holidays.

Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Hurst-Euless-Bedford is a 296-bed, acute-care facility serving Northeast Tarrant County since 1973. With more than 550 physicians on its medical staff, hospital services include outpatient surgery, women’s services, a Level III neonatal intensive care unit, a dedicated oncology unit and cardiac rehabilitation. Texas Health HEB recently received a dual accreditation as a Cycle IV Chest Pain Center and Heart Failure Center by the Society of Chest Pain Centers, is certified as a Primary Stroke Center and a designated "Baby Friendly" facility by WHO and UNICEF. The ideal candidate for this opportunity will possess the following qualifications:

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) required

Other - CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency Req

Licenses and Certifications Required

CNA - Certified Nurse Aide license or

RN Nursing student who has completed fundamentals or

Military experience with medical training equivalent or

THR approved PCT training program upon hire and

BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent care and maintained quarterly.

CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 60 days of hire.
