Salary range: $13.28 - $19.83 per hour ( based on relevant experience )
Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Hurst-Euless-Bedford is a 296-bed, acute-care facility serving Northeast Tarrant County since 1973. High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
Current Certified Nurse Aide license (required) or
RN nursing student who has completed fundamentals or
Military experience with medical training equivalent
Position Responsibilities Texas Health Resources Patient Care Technicians are responsible for providing assistance to patients according to plan of care, collecting patient data, identifying and reporting significant findings to nurse, the delivery of patient care that promotes the safety and well-being of all patients, demonstrating excellent customer service while admitting, transferring or discharging as needed. You may also be responsible for some administrative tasks on an as-needed basis.
In addition to the required qualifications, a successful PCT will
provide and revise patient activities of daily living based on patient/family preferences
enter orders into computer or manual systems
document accurately and appropriately
keep patient environment clean and maintains safe environment
use Professional Practice Model philosophy to work in partnership with patients, families, physicians, peers and all other disciplines
demonstrate adaptability and flexibility to changes in schedule and/or workload assignment necessary to meet changing needs of the individual patient or unit.
