Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Hurst Euless-Bedford is seeking an RN to join the Med/Surg Telemetry Department.

Salary: Minimum of $26.50 -$50.82 HR based upon experience

Work Schedule

Shift is 7:00 am-7:00 pm – (3) 12 hour shifts a week - Rotating Weekends and Holidays

Our 29 bed Medical unit is a cohesive team environment that improves the quality of care for patients who face general medical diagnosis such as pneumonia, COPD, Diabetes and much more. You will have the opportunity to float to other units with similar patient mix, such as the post-surgical unit, and Oncology. The typical nurse to patient ratio is 1:5 on the am shift and 1:6 on the pm shift.

Some of the treatments and care activities performed on the unit are:

  • Medication administration

  • Remote cardiac monitoring

  • Blood product administration

  • Pain management

  • Physical therapy (PT Department)

  • Respiratory therapy (RT Department)

  • Patient and family education

  • Discharge planning and teaching



Required minimum education: Associates Degree Required.

BSN preferred.

RNs hired after January, 2014, require completion of BSN within 3 years of start date.

RNs hired within THR after December, 2016, require completion of BSN within 2 years of start date.

One year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program.

Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire.

Current AHA BLS upon hire.

CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 60 days after hire.

A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast paced environment.
