Texas Health Resources Materials Tech PRN - As Needed 2nd Shift - Fort Worth/Corinth in Corinth, Texas

Texas Health Resources System Services is seeking a Materials Tech PRN to work “as needed.”

The current address is 6317 Harris Parkway, 5 th floor, Fort Worth, TX 76104

This position will start at the Fort Worth location then relocate to Corinth, TX in approximately a month

Salary range is Min $13.41/hour - Max $20.21/hour – based on relevant experience

This position does not include medical benefits

Work Schedule

PRN “as needed” 2 nd Shift

Monday, Wednesday and Friday 1pm-5pm and may work additional days and hours as needed

Job Duties

Performs various Warehouse/Storeroom tasks including, receiving, stocking, filing of delivery paperwork/documents, including but not limited to:

Appropriate goods and/or services are accurately received into appropriate system.

Shelves/inventory items are stocked daily with incoming goods.

Non-stock items are delivered on a timely basis to the requesting department.

Daily inventory orders and backorder releases are pulled and delivered to the requesting department.

Daily par-level areas are counted and refilled.

Assists with returning items to the vendor and with the shipment of repairs, etc.

Deliver items on the same day the order arrives.

All items are inspected with damaged goods being documented and reported immediately to the appropriate buyer and/or vendor.

Assists with the removal of expired supplies and appropriate documentation and ensuring the integrity of sterile supplies.

Customer Service:

Answers the phone, returns calls, pagers and assists departments with questions, concerns and special requests.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Experience

One year of relevant experience in materials management preferred and

One year customer service experience preferred

Experience manually pulling large orders and loading freight using pallet jack and carts in all weather conditions preferred

Medical terminology helpful

Skills

Ability to meet time standards required by position. Basic computer, reading and writing skills. Good communication and organizational skills. Ability to handle moderately difficult requests by performing necessary research.
