Texas Health Resources Clinical Specialist Pharmacist- Oncology in Dallas, Texas

Texas Health Dallas seeks to hire a Clinical Specialist Pharmacist to work Full Time.

The address is 8200 Walnut Hill Ln. Dallas, TX 75231

Salary range is Min. $59.84/hr to Max. $83.29/hr – based on relevant experience


Full Time (40/hr/wk) working days Monday-Friday

Team Support

  • Supports the oversight of pharmacist performance directly and indirectly.

  • Advancing employee partnership through servant leadership, including actively recognizing excellence and improvement from co-workers to mentor growth and development.

  • Initial education and ongoing professional development of pharmacists and students to ensure competency and advance professionalism of the department as a whole.

Clinical Leadership

  • the provision of optimal pharmaceutical care thorugh particpation and oversight of clinical services.

  • Represents the department in hospital/system committees/teams/workgroups.

  • The Clinical Specialist is responsible for the continuous monitoring and review of all medications in use or requested for addition to the Medication Formulary.

Clinical Pharmacist Role modeling

  • Communicating effectively, building positive professional relationships and role modeling teamwork.

  • Timely and accurate support of medication distribution including medication order verification and oversight of pharmacy technician responsibilities.

  • Provision of clinical pharmacy services for the safe and efficient patient care.

  • Ensuring the accuracy of one's own work as well as maintaining required competencies and other documentation. Consistent support of the department's QA and PS standards programs and initiatives is also required.

  • Ongoing professional development and growth.

  • Not only the management of one's own time but shares the responsibility for minimizing pharmaceutical costs (including wastage) and discovering new process efficiencies.

  • Respond to medical emergencies per hospital policy as available.

Other duties as assigned.



Bachelor's Degree Pharmacy Required


Other Pharm.D Degree from U.S. - accredited College of Pharmacy Required


3 Years Hospital experience with similar duties Required


1 Year residency in specialty area Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

PHAR - Pharmacist Upon Hire Required


Other Board Certified Clinical Pharmacy Specialist Upon Hire Preferred
