Southwestern Health Resources (SWHR CIN) seeks to hire a Digital Marketing Web Developer to work Full Time supporting the Community Health Relations department.

Please note: Southwestern Health Resources Clinically Integrated Network (SWHR CIN) is an affiliated company of Texas Health and UT Southwestern. If hired for this position, you will become a SWHR CIN employee rather than a Texas Health or UT Southwestern employee.

Salary range is Min $41.72 - Max $62.83 – based on relevant experience

Job Description

Website Development

Enhance and maintain key application and data integration points for public-facing site with a focus on publishing activities, consumer experience, CRM integrations and Drupal platform functionality.

Serve as organizations lead technical expert for web and digital workplace (intranet) initiatives

Execute or supervise basic wireframing, technical content and page development

Assist with short-term and long-term web and digital strategy

Develop custom solutions and interfaces leveraging the Drupal platform.

Design and manage execution of test plans to ensure that a quality solution is deployed.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop content and solutions for the selected CMS platform.

Document and maintain best practices, project standards, procedures, application, quality objectives and "lessons learned;" ensure that applications systems are developed in a way that complies with architectural/development standards and established methodologies and practices.

Website Performance

Support and extend existing development processes, standards, monitoring and documenting to ensure solutions are achieving business objectives.

Monitor performance of Drupal cloud hosting solution; troubleshoot and report issues as required.

Develop, maintain and troubleshoot interfaces between Drupal and other systems.

Collaborate and partner with vendors and IT departments as needed to resolve technical issues and implement solutions.

Support and Governance

Provide hands-on technical assistance and training to content owners and content publishers.

Maintain and enforce governance policies and procedures for the external and internal Drupal platforms.

Manage upgrades and implementations of Drupal websites, applications and environments.

Support and/or install Drupal software and related websites; participate in the installation, development, testing, and certification of company Drupal instance and websites.

Perform Drupal system administration and other duties as required.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:


Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics or related technical field Required

4 years relevant experience in lieu of degree


4 Years Web / e-Development Programming experience Required with a Bachelor's degree

To include:

  • 2 years Drupal Platform experience OR

  • 1+ years’ experience Development of Microsoft Solutions using ASP .NET, C#, SQL Server, Windows Server, HTML, and JavaScript.

  • Experience with a Healthcare organization Preferred OR

8 Years Web / e-Development Programming experience Required with no degree.

To include:

  • 2 years Drupal platform experience OR

  • 1 years’ experience Development of Microsoft Solutions using ASP .NET, C#, SQL Server, Windows Server, HTML, and JavaScript

  • Experience with a Healthcare organization Preferred


Integration of Drupal and other 3rd party applications such as Marketing Automation, MS365, e-commerce, CRM, etc.

Experience with responsive design, jQuery, CSS3, and mobile site delivery.

Experience with Web Service APIs (e.g. Drupal, IBM) and database development.

Proficient in tracking Drupal item changes preferable.

Auth 2.0 skills

Experience with Microsoft 365

Experience with integrating Drupal within an enterprise environment.

Proficient in building User Interface (UI) elements and supporting the compatibility of different browsers and devices (E.g. Firefox versus IE and mobile web versus desktop)

Working knowledge of standard ECMAScript 5 APIs and libraries such as Bootstrap.js, Underscore and jQuery

Expertise with HTML/HTML5, CSS and preprocessors (SASS, LESS also welcome)

Expert in Object Oriented PHP

Experience with build tools (Grunt, Gulp, Browserify, JIRA, Bitbucket, Git)

Ability to trouble shoot and perform performance tuning on all layers of the web and intranet application.

Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve business issues through solution-oriented projects.

Ability to design, maintain, and optimize business processes, as well as integrate business processes across disparate systems.

Familiarity with Agile software delivery methodologies such as Scrum.

Drupal certified developer on version 7 or later preferable.

Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) practices a plus.

Familiarity with Sales Force and/or similar technology
