Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) – Emergency Department
Fast-paced, high volume Emergency Department is looking for top skilled nurses.

Work location: Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Lane, Dallas, TX 75231
Work hours: Full Time 36 Hours, Variable Mid/Evenings; Rotating Weekends and Holiday’s Required

Here’s What You Need
Graduate of an accredited vocational nursing program required
ED experience in a hospital setting a plus
LVN – Licensed Vocational Nurse upon hire required and
BCLS – Basic Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
What You Will Do
Collaborate with team to facilitate hourly rounding and initiate action to meet patient needs
Use nursing model to obtain adequate data to initiate, implement, and revise plane of care
Serves as patient advocate
Participate in formal and informal teaching and evaluation to strengthen clinical competence
Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care
Safely administers medication in accordance with medication administration guidelines
