Texas Health Dallas seeks to hire a Manager Non-Invasive Cardiology.
Location: Dallas, TX
• Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm
OPERATIONS / FISCAL MANAGEMENT:
Plans, organizes, and delegates activities as required for safe, efficient, and effective operation of the unit including active participation with other hospital departments and leadership to accomplish this purpose.
Provides resources and guidance to support the utilization of evidence-based practice standards.
Identifies and utilizes processes and resources that support optimal delivery of data and information to staff.
Facilitates activities that prepare unit, environment, and staff to meet credentialing bodies’ requirements.
Identifies key drivers in throughput process, evaluate areas role and develop solutions to barriers.
Prepares operating and capital budgets for areas of responsibility.
Manages the approved budget and adjust strategies as needed to meet budget expectations.
Communicates information from management reports to direct care providers.
Continuous Improvement: Develops, implements, monitors and assesses processes that impact outcomes. Uses benchmark data from internal and external sources to identify opportunities for improvement of care delivery and safety.

Plans and manages patient care processes to improve performance.
Facilitates the delivery of quality patient care.
Requires documentation that meets hospital and credentialing standards / policy/guidelines.

Responsible for staffing based on patient care needs.
Responsible for personnel functions including staff, performance reviews and corrective action.

Promotes team building strategies and principles of group process in interaction with staff.
Professional Accountability and Partnership:
Demonstrates involvement in professional organization.
Participates in hospital/department/system committees.
Stays current with professional activities.
Alerts appropriate individuals regarding ethical and legal concerns(i.e. Risk manager, Compliance Officer, Director).
Educates, promotes and evaluates appropriate use of chain of command by staff.
Acts as a role model/mentor.
Active in Reach Out THR and other community activities.
Creates development plan that identifies and addresses areas of needed growth.
Completes reports in a timely manner. Utilizes various resources for development.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications
Associate's Degree required
Bachelor's Degree preferred
3 years non-invasive patient care experience and 2 years non-invasive supervisory experience required
Licenses and Certifications
RCS - Registered Cardiac Sonographer, Or, ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required upon hire
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
Progressive organizational skills to direct and manage cardiology testing in a service line. Effective communication skills, interpersonal skills, and basic computer skills.
