REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in business, health care or related discipline required. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, commensurate experience in Medical Staff Management or related role required.

EXPERIENCE

Five years of experience in medical staff services or related field.

CERTIFICATION

CPCS and/or CPMSM certification through NAMSS.

SKILLS

Demonstrated verbal and written ability to communicate effectively and professionally across disciplines. Must demonstrate expert skill in building and maintaining collaborative, constructive relationships across and beyond the organization. Exceptional organizational, meeting, and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple demands as well as respond to rapidly changing priorities. Ability to leader and manage all aspects of a service line or functional area, including Human Resource and Financial Management. Ability to be a strategic planner with sound technical skills, analytical acumen, good judgment, and a strong business focus. Creative and strategic thinker with high ethical standards and professional image. Proficient computer and Microsoft Office skills. Knowledge and effective leadership application of High Reliability and Lean/Six Sigma theory preferred.
