Qualifications/Duties:

Location and Hours:

Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas

Travel 80% within the Texas Health network areas

Variable schedule including evenings and weekends

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Experience:

One year of admissions/registrar, customer service, or medical/clinic office experience preferred

Licenses and Certifications:

DL - Texas Driver's License required upon hire

BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire

CDL - Commercial Driver's License required within 90 days of hire

Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills, positive interpersonal skills.

Ability to function in a fast paced environment, intermediate level computer skills.

Electronic Health Record (EHR) experience preferred.

Certain THR drivers (Tier 3) are required to receive an eye exam as part of their annual Employee Health Assessment and must meet the DOT CDL vision standard. The DOT CDL standard enforced for these eye examinations to include: 20/40 vision in both eyes (with or without corrective lenses) and peripheral visual field of 70 degrees.

Drivers not meeting the requirement will not be authorized to operate THR Fleet vehicles.

Essential Functions:

Admission and registration of patients to the department for patient care and manages patient clinic flow and throughput.

Operate THR commercial vehicles as assigned. Mobile vehicles vary in size and weight classification and are equipped with sensitive digital mammography equipment.

Client Services: All logistical details related to the visit by the mobile health team are reviewed and confirmed in advance in order to insure a positive experience by the event sponsors, patients and mobile health team.

Maintains patient care areas and insures that they are clean and organized.
