Research Coordinator IEEM

Position Highlights:

  • Work location: Texas Health Dallas, 7232 Greenville Ave., Neuromuscular Lab, Suite 339, Dallas, TX 75231

  • Work environment: Neuromuscular Disease Center

  • Work hours: Full Time; 40 Hours; Monday – Friday 7:30a – 4:30p

  • Bachelor's Degree required

  • Bachelor's Degree in exercise science, kinesiology, human physiologypreferred

  • Master's Degree preferred


  • Experience as research coordinator in human studies required

  • Experience coordinating NIH or federally funded research preferred

  • Previous experience or completion of research-related course(s) including data management, data analysis, and human exercise physiology laboratory preferred.

  • Pulmonary Lab, Exercise, Kinesiology technician skills and experience preferred

Licenses and Certifications

  • CCRC - Certified Clinical Research Coordinator Upon Hire preferred

  • Other Specialty Certification such as CCRP, ACRP-CP, etc. Upon Hire preferred

  • BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support; prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required.


  • Proficiency in phlebotomy, administration of ECG testing and obtaining vital signs, preferred.

  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • Ability to coordinate, multi-task, problem solve effectively, not easily overwhelmed or flustered.

  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice guidelines and FDA regulations pertaining to clinical research trials.

  • Good communication skills, adept at building relationships, facilitating teamwork, and conflict resolution

  • Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office suite products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc...), Adobe Acrobat Pro, Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems (i.e. REDCap), able to learn and utilize EDC systems quickly, for data capture, tracking, reporting, communicating and presenting.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Under supervision provides technical assistance in assigned clinical and research projects, works independently at times.

  • Under direction performs data analysis using advanced computer skills.

  • Under supervision, uses advance computer presentation skills.

  • Responds to emergency situations.
