Work location: Texas Health Physicians Group 9229 LBJ Freeway Dallas, TX 75243 - Some travel is required. It will also involve remote work with periodic in-person staff meetings as required
Work hours: Full-Time, 40 hours Monday - Friday; 8AM-5PM
Salary range: $25.35 - $ 42.11 per hour (based on relevant experience)

Associate's Degree Nursing preferred or Bachelor's Degree Nursing.
2 Years Relevant experience related to patient safety; risk management required
RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required or LVN - Licensed Vocational Nurse Upon Hire Required
Understanding of OSHA and employee/patient safety in the workplace.
Strong communication skills (written, verbal & presentation).
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Knowledge of HIPAA Privacy and Security requirements.
Specific responsibility for planning, implementation, and management of Environment of Care (EOC): OSHA, Life Safety, Emergency Preparedness and Management programs within Federal/State, and THR guidelines.
Responsibility for education, training, and coaching of facility staff and leadership relevant to, but not limited to EOC issues, OSHA, Life Safety, Emergency Management, Joint Commission, EPA, NFPA, DEA, TDH-DSHS, etc.
Prepares and analyzes safety reports from surveillance of the medical office practices.
Conducts interviews with clinic staff and management related to EOC, OSHA, Emergency Management, and Hazardous Materials. Maintains reporting documents and forwards pertinent information to appropriate key stakeholders.
Escalates any urgent findings to Director Risk Management. Always supportive in the training and delivery of regulatory requirements.
Attendance and involvement in appropriate committee meetings, organization meetings and co-ordination of plans to promote compliance with specified regulatory requirements.
